Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Pickens County, Georgia. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones You will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter.
