Foundry worker wanted in Denton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Denton County, Texas. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Performance bonus on top of base pay.
