Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Guri, Jigawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Rotating shifts.
