Skimming plasterer — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Jackson County, Ohio. The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
