Plant operator wanted in Union County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Union County, Illinois. You will work on a housing development site. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred.
