Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sausage maker in Oriade, Osun State. The job is at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools ₦285,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
