Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Chandauli District, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. We are looking for good eye for detail and a clean finish; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers; own basic hand tools.
