Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Atiba, Oyo State. On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
