Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Cherokee County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate On the job you will handle: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Full-time with occasional weekends.
