Container truck driver — Nadia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Nadia, West Bengal. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Your main tasks: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing You should bring valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence; confident with manual handling and load securing; valid digital tachograph card. ₹1,400 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
