Furniture maker wanted in Chambers County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Chambers County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring 2+ years on the tools preferred. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
