Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Murray County, Georgia. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Six days a week, one day off.
