Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Kebbe, Sokoto State. The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
