Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Travis County, Texas. You will be based on commercial flat-roof projects. Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day On the job you will handle: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs 5+ years on the tools preferred.
