Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Putnam County, Florida. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
