Laundry presser — Nye County

Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Nye County, Nevada. The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours.
