Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Middlesex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day to day you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
