Port container crane operator wanted in Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Carroll County, Maryland. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Meals and transport allowance provided.
