Brick mason wanted in Fika

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Fika, Yobe State. You will work on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
