Milling machinist — Smith County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Smith County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls 1+ years on the tools preferred.
