Join our team: we are hiring a bench joiner in Gordon County, Georgia. The job is at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits.
