Halal butcher — Jalpaiguri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
