Rough terrain crane operator • Lamar County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Lamar County, Texas. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Six days a week, one day off.
