Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Jersey County, Illinois. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
