Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Cottle County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
