Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Scott County, Missouri. You will work at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish The role involves: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
