Gantry crane operator — Awka North

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Awka North, Anambra State. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On a typical shift you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. We offer ₦70,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
