Excavator operator wanted in Orange County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Orange County, New York. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
