Retail butcher — Kontagora

Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Kontagora, Niger State. On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
