Join our team: we are hiring a deboner in Tooele County, Utah. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools.
