Immediate opening: canteen cook (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Monroe County, Georgia. You will work at a fast-food outlet. Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
