Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Fort Bend County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
