Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day-to-day duties: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Six days a week, one day off.
