Sand plant operator wanted in Alkaleri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Alkaleri, Bauchi State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
