Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Jackson County, Oregon. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
