Join our team: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Overtime paid at a premium rate.
