Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Cavalier County, North Dakota. The job is in a supermarket meat department. You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
