Garden maintenance worker • Orange County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Orange County, Virginia. You will be based at a private estate garden. The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 6+ years on the tools preferred.
