Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Solihull, England. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
