Immediate opening: counter butcher (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Nueces County, Texas. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
