We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Kamrup, Assam. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. You should bring can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently; 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
