Short order cook • Apa, Benue State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a short order cook in Apa, Benue State. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Six days a week, one day off.
