Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Calderdale, England. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £2,350 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
