We are recruiting: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Covington County, Alabama. The job is at a banquet hall. Day-to-day duties: • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Clear and reset tables between covers • Restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu You should have: • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems Full-time, day shift.
