Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. The role involves keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 5+ years on the tools preferred.
