Pressman wanted in Cache County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Cache County, Utah. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Six days a week, one day off.
