Great opportunity: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Cook County, Illinois. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Six days a week, one day off.
