Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Funakaye, Gombe State. You will be based in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
