Brick mason • Akinyele, Oyo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Akinyele, Oyo State. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time with occasional weekends.
