Join our team: we are hiring a dough maker in Wallowa County, Oregon. The job is at a busy bakery. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
